Las Vegas, NV – On February 14th, the Nevada Donor Network will join the nation in celebrating National Donor Day, a day dedicated to raising awareness and educating the community about organ, eye, and tissue donation. This year, the organization will honor the selfless donors who have saved countless lives through their generous gifts.
The “Day of Heroes” celebration will take place in the Las Vegas Valley, and several hospitals will participate. The Christian Chamber of Commerce is proud to support the efforts of the Nevada Donor Network and its mission to save and heal lives through organ and tissue donation.
According to the Nevada Donor Network, there are currently over 600 people in the state waiting for a life-saving organ transplant. By raising awareness and educating the community about the importance of donation, the organization hopes to increase the number of registered donors and ultimately save more lives.
The “Day of Heroes” celebration will include educational events, donor registration drives, and opportunities for the community to honor and remember those who have given the ultimate gift.
